A Week of Beauty ft. Instagram

Hey lovelies!

I upload a lot more beauty stuff on my Instagram account throughout the week and thought I would share today my weekly beauty discoveries that I’ve posted about @ https://www.instagram.com/seaandstyleblog/ img_7068

Let’s start with this beauty. Wow! After seeing countless posts and videos on this peach palette, Mecca in Australia finally re-released the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette.I bought it the first day it was out (Yesterday) along with the lip oil. I will definitely be giving this beauty a post by itself after I’ve played around with the colours a bit more.

The lip oil reminded me of the YSL tint in oils (without the tint part). That was a tragic story- as the oil started leaking from the tube and is nothing short of a horrid mess. I have high hopes for this one as it’s the first lipgloss I’ve purchased in years. I picked the colour Pure Peach.

The Nars Velvet Matte Skin Tint has been a wonderful base for the last week when Australia decided that 40 degrees celsius was an okay joke to play on us. The ‘tint’ is marketed to be matte but gives a natural satin finish. That being said, it keeps the oil at bay and has stayed on fairly well in the humid, hot weather. The coverage is something I really like about this item. It feels very light on the skin but the coverage is better than my normal tinted moisturisers and bb creams. Would recommend. Yes.

The Lush Mask Don’t Look at Me has also been a favourite. I think I tried my first lush mask about 6 years ago. Since then, they’ve always been a kind of treat to go to lush and pick out a mask I want. I’ve never noticed anything superb on my skin rather than being a deep cleaning clay mask. This blue mask is actually quite brightening because of the lemon in it. There are small grains that also exfoliate the skin. Another lovely discovery here.

I have a small bias towards flower. By now, it’s probably as clear as day ( I mean a thousand and one flower posts later)… This has got to be one of my favourite places for flowers and it’s just such a happy shop. It’s always bustling with people, the owners don’t mind photo taking and they have the most beautiful arrangements. I worked with flowers for a while and now am pretty fussy as to the flowers I get.

So there we have it, a few photos from this week’s Instagram posts. I would love it if you could check me out on Instagram. I would love to connect with more bloggers and see what everyone is up to 🙂 <3.
