Everlane Review (A Week of Outfits)

Since receiving Everlane’s Ribbed Wool-Cashmere Crew, the Striped Cotton Long sleeve Crew and their Slouchy Chino pants, I’ve barely touched the rest of my closet. I’ve recently been getting into more classic items for my wardrobe and developed a slight obsession with Everlane. They do simple style pieces that really are so versatile when building a capsule wardrobe. I did a collaboration with Style By Rhiannon where we decided to come up with a week of different outfits using ten items. The challenge wasn’t meant to be super difficult but just a creative way to mix and match some of the items we already had in our wardrobes. I wore a lot (as in A LOT) of Everlane pieces this week so I thought I would mention the pieces and do a short review as well.

Everlane Sloucy Chinos Pants (Khaki)

These are a nice medium weight cotton thats lighter than your average chino material, making it super for warmer days. The pant is quite flattering, well constructed and I have no complaints on the item. I will note that I’m an Australian size 6, a US size 2 and I had to get the 00. They are still a little bit big on the waist and a little too long. Nothing major but I will bring it to the tailor the next time I’m there. This comes in a variety of colours and I would highly recommend the style and construction of the pant.

Everlane Ribbed Wool-Cashmere Crew (Charcoal)

I love this sweater and its hands down one of my favourite purchases from Everlane yet. There is a ribbing detail that’s very nice and a split on the sides which makes it perfect for wearing skirts. The material does pill quite a bit but nothing that can’t be fixed with a depiller. I find the style very flattering and the material is heavier which makes it very warm. I love this and definitely will be wearing it a lot over while the weather is still cool.

Everlane Cotton Long-Sleeve Crew (Red)

I love a striped tee and this one is pretty perfect. It fits the bill on every aspect except that the sleeves are just a tad too long. Nothing that’s too bad but just a little bit off. If you’ve noticed, Everlane sizing is often too big and I find that I have to size down two sizes in most items!
