The Everlane Form Bag is a great option for work, play and everything in between! It’s been quite a while since my last Everlane review so I’m happy to report back that this was definitely a worthwhile addition to my Everlane collection! I think finding the perfect bag is a mix between enjoying the design and construction as well as the bag suiting your lifestyle and day to day outfits! Hopefully the outfits in the video above gives you an idea of how this bag would pair with formal and casual outfits alike!
So let’s start with the review!
Made from 100% Italian leather, the bag definitely feels like a gem in terms of quality. The hardware is pristine as it should be and the stitching is perfect without a loose thread in sight. Honestly, it’s these little details that I really care about so this bag ticks all the boxes. The leather does not scratch easily if I use my nail to scrape it which makes it fairly fuss free. I will make the note that my day market tote from Everlane does not scratch but definitely softens and moulds to the items being placed inside. The leather I should mention is very light weight and on the thin side which makes it perfect for filling up with your belongings!
Design wise, I love the simplicity of the bag with a real modern twist. For the most part, I associate messenger bags with more masculine style. However, the leather construction makes it a lot more polished and like something I would reach for on the go for work! I went for the black because I liked the idea of using it for work. However, the green and cognac brown are gorgeous as well!
Otherwise, the fact that it fits a 13inch Macbook comfortably is a definite pro! Whilst at uni, I definitely searched high and low for a bag that would be cute for evenings but also good for fitting in the laptop I carried everywhere! In hindsight, I would have LOVED to have this then as well!
If I had to fault anything, I would say if security is a huge issue for you, be careful that the magnetic closure is not very strong so it can be difficult to keep closed at times. This usually happens when the bag is stuffed to medium-full capacity. Details wise, I also like the adjustable strap. In the photos I set my strap to the shortest length, but I also show it crossbody above in the video if you’re interested.
Honestly, if you’re interested in it, I would jump on it as I’ve noticed that a lot of Everlane’s releases lately have been fairly limited in stock. Did I mention I’ve done a tonne of Everlane reviews? Keep reading for more! Shop The Form Bag here!
